SMART ENERGIES WINS A 10 MWp PHOTOVOLTAIC PROJECT IN TUNISIA

The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies of Tunisia made official in early May 2018, the list of winners of the international tender launched in 2017. The consortium led by Smart Energies International has been officially awarded a 10 MWp photovoltaic solar project located in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid, and a 20-year power purchase agreement with STEG (Société Tunisienne de l'Electricité et du Gaz).

The project represents an investment of around 10 million euros and will enable the Smart Energies group, which already owns more than 200 solar sites in operation or under construction, to deploy its know-how in Tunisia.
